To_stay_ahead_with_ever_changing_and_dynamic_research_area,_a_common_platform_for_brainstorming_session,_one_to_one_interaction_and_to_have_a_broad_networking_profile,_several_conferences,_workshops_have_been_organized_by_JNU._Emphasis_was_also_given_to_the_impart_skills_to_young,_budding_scientists_through_annual_events_of_SLS_like_summer_school,_winter_school_programs_and_hands-on_training_on_several_topics_per_semester._Students_from_all_over_India_are_selected_for_SLS_outreach_program_“summer/winter_school”_based_on_the_merit_and_research_proposal.
Annual_events_like_Biosparks_were_solely_managed_and_convened_by_the_SLS_students_with_major_support_coming_from_the_School's_resources._It_includes_oral_presentations,_panel_discussions_and_research_proposals_in_addition_to_the_invited_lectures_by_scientists._The_main_theme_of_this_event_is_to_promote_an_interactive_spirit_among_distinguished_scientists_and_student_researchers.
