All_applications_have_to_be_generated_via_the_IBKP_online_portal_(https://ibkp.dbtindia.gov.in/Login/Login)_and_submitted_to_the_IBSC_for_consideration._The_IBSC_will_meet_at_least_twice_in_a_year,_or_more_if_required,_to_review_all_the_received_applications._Based_on_the_comments_for_clarifications/revisions,_and_accordingly,_the_applicants_must_submit_a_revised_application_for_approval._ Applicants_are_expected_to_be_available_during_the_meeting_for_clarification_/discussion,_if_required_by_the_IBSC._Only_the_application_providing_the_complete_details_along_with_all_the_required_documents_as_per_the_IBSC_guidelines_in_a_single_PDF_file_submitted_to_ibsc.jnu@jnu.ac.in_will_be_considered_in_the_meeting.

First_time_users_need_to_request_to_IBSC_JNU_office_at_ibsc.jnu@jnu.ac.in_to_obtain_the_credentials.

Give_the_following_details_in_the_e-mail.

  _-_Full_name   _-_School/Centre_name   _-_E-mail_ID_(valid_and_frequently_used)

  • Once_registered_by_the_IBSC,_the_credentials_are_sent_directly_to_the_user_at_the_registered_e-mail_ID.
  • Keep_the_credentials_safe_and_confidential.
  • Login_password_can_be_changed_by_the_user.
  • The_credentials_will_be_required_for_each_login_to_the_IBSC_portal,_tracking_your_application,_reply_to_any_queries_raised_by_the_IBSC/RCGM
  • Same_credentials_are_to_be_used_for_submission_of_future_applications.
 

Submission_of_application_to_IBSC

  • Select_a_suitable_category_(Agriculture_Biotechnology_or_Medical_Biotechnology)_from_the_drop_down_menu_at_the_center_of_the_webpage.
  • Click_on_the_suitable_application_link_as_per_the_requirement_for_which_IBSC_approval_is_sought._For_example,_for_R_&_D_projects_click_on_the_“To_carryout_Research_&_Development”.
  • The_form_should_be_complete_in_all_respects_and_all_fields/sections_should_be_filled_adequately_avoiding_“NA”_until_totally_irreverent_to_the_proposed_work.
  • ONLY_the_regular_JNU_faculty_can_be_an_applicant_in_the_IBSC_applications._All_the_IBSC_applications_MUST_be_verified_and_submitted_by_the_JNU_faculty_only.
  • While_filling_keep_saving_the_form_at_regular_intervals._After_filling_the_form_click_VERIFY_and_the_completely_filled_application_will_be_displayed.
  • DOWNLOAD_the_filled_form_in_PDF_format._DO_NOT_SUBMIT_the_form_at_this_stage.
  • Insert_your_signature_and_stamp_at_the_designated_place.
  • Make_a_single_PDF_file_of_the_IBSC_application_and_all_the_requisite_documents_(attachments/annexures_including_sequence/vector_accession_numbers/details_etc._or_any_other_appropriate_information).
  • All_applications_for_BSL-III_project_proposals_must_include_the_recommendation_and_endorsement_from_the_RCGM-certified_BSL-III_facility_only_as_per_RCGM_guidelines.
  • Only_the_complete_and_readable_applications_strictly_in_the_proper_format_along_with_all_the_annexures/attachments_(as_per_instructions/guidelines_given_by_RCGM,_IBSC_webpage_and/or_sent_from_time_to_time)_will_be_taken_up_in_all_future_meetings._
  • Send_the_complete_IBSC_application_in_a _single_PDF_file_via_e-mail_to_ibsc.jnu@jnu.ac.in_for_consideration_by_the_IBSC_(Subject_line:_Application_for_New_IBSC_Proposal).
