Business_environment_is_changing_rapidly_and_at_the_same_time,_technology_is_also_witnessing_unprecedented_evolution._They_together_have_immense_impact_on_various_aspects_of_our_life_including_education._Hence_a_curriculum_must_be_evaluated_and_amended_periodically_to_reflect_the_changing_times._Management_education_being_closely_linked_with_the_business_and_economy_and_MBA_program_being_the_flagship_product_of_management_education,_it_is_necessary_to_keep_updating_its_curriculum_periodically_to_accommodate_changing_scenario_and_to_remain_relevant._Therefore,_the_MBA_curriculum_of_ABV-SME_also_needs_to_be_suitably_modified._The_most_essential_learning_outcomes_of_MBA_programmes_have_been_identified_in_this_revised_curriculum._The_core_courses_of_MBA_are_mapped_with_the_key_learning_outcomes_that_every_employer_today_seeks_in_a_management_graduate. Emphasising_on_Indian_business_models_and_recognizing_the_co-existence_of_business_and_non-business_sectors,_the_newly_revised_curriculum_is_offering_a_range_of_innovative_courses._Multi-disciplinary_management_knowledge_can_be_studied_in_depth_through_a_number_of_electives_in_the_functional_and_non-functional_areas_in_the_business_and_non-business_sectors._Students_can_customize_their_learning_not_just_through_a_selection_of_electives_as_major_and_minor_specialization_from_a_large_pool_of_electives.  

For_successful_completion_of_MBA_Programme_of_ABV-SME_a_student_must_earn_a_minimum_of_80_credits_during_the_4_semester. _This_is_consistent_with_the_UGC_regulations. 
    We_propose_the_programme_to_be_of_80_credits_instead_of_112_credits_over_the_4_semester_in_our_MBA_Programme_to_keep_it_in_consonance_with_most_major_government_Management_Schools.The_numbering_of_the_courses_has_been_done_on_the_basis_of_the_areas_in_their_discipline_so_the_following_nine_areas_have_been_identified_as_part_of_the_courses_of_MBA_Programme_of_ABV-SME:

  • The_first_numerical_digit_stands_for_the_prioritize_order_of_the_course:_1_–_Compulsory_course;_2-_Tool_Course;_3-_Elective_Course
  • The_second_digit_stands_for_the_number_credits_assigned_to_the_course
  • The_third_digit_of_the_course_stands_for_the_area_to_which_the_course_belongs
  • The_last_two_digits_refer_to_the_numerical_order_of_the_course._

At_the_completion_of_the_first_two_semesters_of_the_first_year_and_before_the_commencement_of_the_third_semester_in_the_second_year,_the_student_is_required_to_undergo_summer_training_in_an_organisation. _A_report_based_on_the_summer_training_shall_be_submitted_within_six-eight_weeks_from_the_commencement_of_the_third_semester._After_this_each_student_has_to_make_a_presentation_and_the_final_grade_in_this_course_(MB_22001_in_Semester-III_which_has_2_credits)_will_be_based_on_both_the_written_report_and_the_presentation.
